I used to be rubbish at baking scones and gave up for years, but decided to try this recipe because I’ve gotten into making yoghurt and wanted to use up the whey – and they came out BEAUTIFULLY (my family told me they were better than cafe scones!). This recipe is fantastic!!

Thanks Kris. The moisture levels of cottage cheese vary from brand to brand. It works well with mine but you might need to add more milk to ensure the dough is not too dry. You might have overworked the dough resulting in a chewy texture. I’ll retest the recipe. Cheers, Caro

Good taste, you must reserve brine otherwise it is too soupy. Ruined first batch following all instructions.
